Halloween Celebrations

The American Women's Club of Duesseldorf had organized a few Halloween events. The weekend started out with a party for the adults. Andrew and I went as Peter and Lois from the Family Guy.

The next afternoon, it was the party for the kids. Sophie wore her brand new Snow White outfit.
The party took place at the International School. We arrived just in time for my volunteering time slot at the eyeball soup station. This is from when Sophie came to visit me and tried to find an eyeball in this pot.
There were so many activities for Sophie and the other kids. Here is a picture of Sophie making a spooky bracelet.
Upstairs there was a Hall of Fame with the wicked witch, Michael Jackson and among others another Snow White.
Sophie had been looking forward to this hot dog all afternoon.

Belle in 1001 Nights

How Sophie deals with multiculturalism.
Have you never seen Belle wear a burka?

Her preschool teacher told us one day that 27 languages are spoken at Sophie's preschool - English now being one of them.

An Important Stop

Before we would join the crowds in the Mall again for more Jubilee celebrations, it was time for a most important shopping trip to
Hamley's
...of course.
She spotted this on the second floor, but Daddy would have had to fly quite a bit of overtime for this "yet another Barbie."
Instead he bought her this dress along with the tiara and ring for being such a patient girl on this trip.

A Lovely Visit by a Special Princess

We had my sister Anke and her two boys Luca (11) and Kiron (almost 3) come for a quick visit today. We hope it was the first of many more.
While Anke and I were having our coffee, Princess Sophie and Princess Kiron came down to surprise us.
